A Hat Trick of Hilly Marathons!

Spring is upon us and for the third year running it brings with it another mountain challenge! On 13th May a group of staff (plus some guest adventurers) are planning to complete the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge.

This gruelling event comes after the successful conquest of the Lake District three peaks last year and the Welsh Mountains three peaks  the year before that. We are aiming to complete this challenging, continuous 24-mile loop (involving over 5000 feet of ascent) within 12 hours. However, we also have a small group among us who are planning to run the entire route in a fraction of the time!

Despite the fun and frolics involved in scaling boggy peaks, we are, as ever, raising money for charity. This year we are raising money for the British Heart Foundation, a superb charity and one that is very dear to us after the departure last year of our friend and colleague, Martyn Dunn.

The charity page is up and running and all donations would be gratefully received via this link
